About Blue Lotus Healing Arts Center

Blue Lotus Healing Arts Center is located at 2810 Sudderth Drive, Suite 202-207. It’s in the Schlotzky’s Plaza, in the professional offices upstairs. If you are in the plaza looking at Schlotzsky’s, to your right will be some inconspicuous doors that say “Professional Offices.” You go inside those doors, up the stairs, and we are immediately in front of you in Suite 211. Our facility consists of 7 separate rooms within the Professional Offices: one 500 sq ft. yoga studio, 1 small reception/office/waiting area, and 5 spacious treatment rooms. If a group is willing to receive massage in a “couples” format, we can accommodate up to 10 people at the same time. For each massage recipient to have their own private room, we can accommodate 6 at one time. All our rooms have views of the trees, with the river flowing below.
Please turn your cell phones off or to silent mode. We appreciate not engaging in cell-phone conversations while in our building in order to help us create a relaxing and ambient environment.
Advanced booking prior to your arrival is required to secure your preferred date and time of treatment. Your treatment is special and we prepare it just for you. A credit card number is required at the time of booking.
Please check in at the spa reception at least 15 minutes prior to your scheduled appointment to avoid reduced treatment times and to have a chance to relax and unwind with hot tea before your treatment.
We can frequently get you in outside of our normal business hours with enough notice, within reason. We generally never go past 7pm or before 8:30am

The above hours are an estimation. We sometimes step out for the lunch hour, and we can make appointments outside of these hours with notice. You can always leave a message but the best way to schedule an appointment without talking to us is to click on the Request an Appointment tab above.

Please let your therapist know about any injuries or special medical conditions you have, in order to help them serve your individual needs. If you think we may need to prepare for you in any special way, please let us know on the phone at the time of booking.
A 24-hour notice of cancellation is required to assist us in rescheduling the appointment and notifying our therapists. The full balance of all treatments booked will be charged for any treatments canceled with less than 24 hours notice or for any missed appointments.
We accept credit cards, checks, and cash. Prices do not include sales tax. It is customary to leave a tip of 15-20% for your massage therapist. If you are in a group of 3 or more, being paid for by one person or one credit card, it is our policy to add on an automatic 20% gratuity.
Our spa is located in the professional offices above Schlotsky’s at 2810 Sudderth Drive. You must climb a set of stairs to reach us. We have 5 dedicated treatment rooms, a small office/reception/waiting area with a few retail shelves, a yoga studio which can be used for resting in after your massage, and 2 bathrooms. We do not offer shower/locker facilities at this time. Though it is our goal to provide these for you, our current location does not allow for this.
We have ample parking in the Schlotzsky’s plaza where we are located. If possible, don’t park directly in front of Schlotzsky’s as they have a high turn-over of customers and need those spaces. During peak parking hours (11am-2pm) the lot may be close to full. There is additional parking under the building, which can be accessed by driving to the right of the building and down towards the river.

During HOLIDAYS – During the hours of 11am-3pm on Holiday weekends such as Memorial Day, Fourth of July, Labor Day, etc, please plan to arrive 30 minutes early to ensure your parking space. Parking can be difficult, though we have a large parking lot it gets filled with shoppers during these hours on busy weekends and we want to make sure you have time to find a parking place and get to your treatment stress free. We also advise that if you have a smaller car you can drive (i.e. an SUV or Sedan) that you choose the smaller vehicle as opposed to large farm trucks which can be hard to maneuver in our full parking lot.

We can accommodate groups with enough notice (ideally a minimum of 2 weeks or up to 6 months notice for busy times like July, August, and holidays.)

We love serving groups and we have worked with groups as large as 30. We consider a “group” any party of 12 or larger. We are always happy to work out new and creative ways to serve your large group. We do not give group discounts. Please understand that buying a service in bulk is not the same as buying a product in bulk. With a product, the more you buy the less work is done per item to get that product to you. With services, like our treatments here at the Blue Lotus, when buying in “bulk” the amount of work increases with each additional service that is booked. Additionally, there is increased planning, preparation, and scheduling associated with groups that increases the larger your group is. Plainly stated, working with groups is harder, more complicated and takes more time. We also have experienced that the larger the group is, the more we experience last minute rescheduling, canceling, or changing of appointment types which can affect our staff and our regularly scheduled clientele. In short, we put a lot of hard work into serving your large group and no discounts are available. Thank you for understanding!

We have 6 total treatment rooms. If each person in your party wants a private room, we can accommodate 6 treatments at once. If some of you are willing to share a room, our maximum capacity is 10. Most Fridays and Saturdays we can perform up to 10 treatments at the same time, with some stipulations (you may have to be in the same room with someone else in your party, we cannot do more than 3 hot stone massages at the same time, etc). We accommodate more than 10 people by staggering your appointments. For instance in a group of 16 we may start with 6 people receiving their treatment and 10 people either taking a yoga class or relaxing with snacks and drinks. After an hour the next 6 can take their treatments and the others relax with yoga, other wellness class (ask for our current offerings) or chillin’ with your friends.

We can provide minimal snacks (cheese, crackers, juice) at no charge with your group of 6-12.. If you would like snack or fruit platters for larger groups, or lunch delivered, we can arrange this at a reasonable cost for incredible food from the Village Buttery. You are welcome to bring your own wine or champagne to consume in reasonable quantities for your celebration. We don’t advocate intoxication, especially not mixed with bodywork, however a small amount is permitted for celebratory purposes

Minors must be 13 years of age to receive a treatment and then generally only a 30 minute treatment in the same room as their parent. Longer treatments may be booked at our discretion and with an interview. Any minor under 18 years of age can only receive a treatment if they are accompanied by an adult, i.e. an adult receives a treatment with them in couples format OR the adult is present in the room during the treatment.


We do not provide childcare services. If your minor finishes their treatment before you finish yours, an adult must be present to accompany them at the spa or to escort them home. In addition, we do not allow infants or small children in the treatment room while you receive your treatment. Please plan for childcare.

We would like to thank the brave men and women who serve our country, who are currently in active military duty by offering a 10% discount on all services Sunday-Friday. Discount not available on Saturdays or holidays.
